Western Union Microwave Tower
The Western Union Telegraph Company built this 90’ tower,
known as “Tenley Tower,” in 1947, soon after World War II.
It was part of a network of microwave radio-relay stations
linking Washington, Pittsburgh, and New York City. It is
used today a cell phone tower.
